Have the students walk around Bloomington and use digital cameras to document historical spots they have discovered. The students can then post their work using power point.
Have the students go on an internet scavenger hunt... ask your younger students to find out how baby chicks are born. They can look up websites and videos that show them the process of an egg hatching.

These two ideas are interesting! I can imagine kids' reactions if they were asked about how the baby chicks are born! (My imagination is ... have kids observe baby chicks, and ask them to guess how the baby chicks are born, ask them why they think so, and then look up websites together. After the video clips, they might have even more questions becasue of their nature of curiosity!) There is more you could do about this topic! Good start!
